Pacific Maritime Agency, provides power and sailboat delivery, relocation service, Captain & Crew for hire to private boat owners, marina operators and boat repair facilities.

We provide our clients with the most professional delivery service possible. 
We pay attention to every detail to ensure your boat arrives in the same condition it left in. 

Knowledge of diesel mechanics, plumbing & electricity enables basic repairs enroute saving time 
and money should those minor emergencies arise.

Delivery Rates 

Delivery costs include the Fees for the Captain and crew, plus expenses; including the Captain’s and crew’s travel to and from the departure and destination ports, crew expenses (per diem) for meals, fuel, dockage, and any materials and/or repairs determined to be required along the way. Unless major, no costs will be incurred for repairs. All repair costs will be in coordination with the owner or his/her agent. 

Vessels Under 65 Feet:
Captains $300 per day, Crew ea. $125 per day.

Vessels 65 Feet or More:
Captains $350 per day, Crew ea. $150 per day.

Short Distance Vessel Deliveries may be negotiated at a flat rate, on a individual basis

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need insurance?
Yes. The vessel must be fully insured. We will require a copy of the declarations page along with your contract. You should check with your Insurance company to see if a hired Captain and Crew are covered by your policy.

What is required of the vessel?
The vessel needs to be in seaworthy condition. The vessel's systems must be functional and the engine recently running and maintained. It should have adequate spare engine parts; (filters etc) along with all CCG recommended safety equipment, spare lines, fenders and a working VHF radio. 
We will provide a checklist with the contract which provides general guidance on this subject.
The vessel needs to have all current documentation/registrations onboard.

Delivery Times/Delays/Repairs?
We will do everything possible to meet your desired delivery dates; however, we must consider all facets of the delivery, including the safety of our crew and your vessel. Weather is the most often cause for a delay. We would rather delay a departure than to leave and be required to pull into port to 'wait out the weather.' Should the vessel breakdown during a delivery we will proceed to the nearest port for repairs (if we cannot accomplish it) and will contact you ASAP, for your approval before any repairs are done. If the trip is delayed for repairs, our daily rate will still be in effect. If the repairs will significantly delay the delivery, it may be better for us to go home and return when the repairs are complete.

 Do tools need to be onboard?
It is better to have tools onboard, although we bring some tools for minor repairs.

 Do cooking utensils, etc.need to be onboard?
Yes, depending on length of delivery, adequate utensils for cooking and serving the Captain and crew.

How many hours are made underway each day?
With Captain and one crew member, generally at least 12 hours. We are underway just before sunrise, and stop a half hour or so before sunset.
 With a total crew compliment of three, we run 24/7.

Is a recent survey needed?
Not absolutely required, but if survey was done within the past two years, we would like to see a copy.

Are you in contact with the owner during delivery?
Yes. Daily, cell phone reception permitting. For longer offshore voyages, Satellite phone will be used.

 Do you provide a trip log at completion?
Yes. a trip log is provided detailing each days activities, distance covered, location, fluid levels, vessels condition and any unusual situations.
